Our tutors all have extensive background working in the elementary classroom, as well as experience teaching special education students, English language learners, and those students who are gifted. We pride ourselves on meeting children where they are at and helping them achieve their fullest potential!

Fulfilling A Passion…Doing What I Love
Hi, I’m Lisa Phillips, founder and owner of Study Buddies LLC. Education has been my world for the past 15 years. I’m a former elementary school teacher, turned full-time mom and private tutor. Nothing fills my cup more than helping kids reach those “aha” moments and seeing that lightbulb go off in their incredible, little brains.
I’m a proud boy mom to three fabulous kiddos- ages 6, 3 & 6 months, and my amazingly supportive husband is my best friend. We’ve lived in Norwood, MA for over a decade, along with our pup – our first baby, of course! In my spare time you can find me at the athletic fields (cheering on my boys) or planning our next family excursion.
I feel so fortunate to be doing what I love…every single day! Running an educational company while raising my boys is a dream come true. I know I have the best of both worlds.
